Who We Are

Mission and Vision

Relevant Church is a place that is Relevant (closely connected) with the logos (written word) of God, as well as the rhema (spoken word) of God. We believe that God still speaks to us not only through His word, but also through His prophets.

Relevant Church adheres to the whole Bible, from Genesis to Revelation. We believe that the entire Bible is God inspired and infallible, therefore the contents are relevant for all times and all people.

  • The grass withers, the flower fades, but the word of our God will stand forever. Isaiah 40:8

  • 'Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds. out of the mouth of God. Matthew 4:4

  • For the word of God is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing to the division of soul and of spirit, of joints and of marrow, and discerning the thoughts and intentions of the heart. Hebrews 4:12

  • All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works. 2 Timothy 3:16-17

Relevant Church is a church that is relevant (closely connected) with the heart of God, which is found in Luke 10:27:

  • He answered, "Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength and with all your mind, and, 'Love your neighbor as yourself.'"

Relevant Church is a community that loves God and loves people. We accept any person from any background. Our goal is to manifest the love of Jesus not just inside the four walls of the church building, but in the community as well.

Relevant Church desires to be a church that is relevant (closely connected) with the presence of God.

It is our desire for the Spirit of God to be made manifest every time we open our doors. We understand through scripture that where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom from any bondage, addiction, problem, or situation (2 Corinthians 3:17).
